Jeremy is a Colorado native and a Vietnam vet. In 1954 at the age of 4, he was already putting his talents to work, when he began drawing. A second-generation master engraver, he began engraving in 1973 and in 1979 Steel Tattoos was established. He was one of the first engravers to engrave on motorcycle parts. Many motorcycle magazines have done articles on him and his art. The Discovery Channel has even featured Jeremy and his work. Jeremy's primary form of art is freehand engraving, which he has taken a step further and offers full color freehand engraved automotive art. He also offers engraving of guns, knives, guitar pickguards, motorcycle and hotrod parts, plus traditional ink on paper art and designing for T-shirts and business publications. In the mid 1980's he began to develop his full color freehand engraved automotive art. This took many years to perfect, but he finally achieved the results he was looking for. Using the techniques he has developed, he then puts it into digital format and loads it into his computer. making it possible to reproduce the orginal engraving into any product his customer desires. Jeremy has combined 14th century freehand engraving and modern digital technology to produce some of the most unique and exciting artwork on the market today. We would like to invite you to explore the pages of this website and all the different forms of art he has to offer.
