Jeremy Potts is a Colorado native and a Vietnam vet.. at the age of 7 he began drawing. He began engraving in 1973 as a hobby and in 1979 Steel Tattoos was established. He is one of the very first engravers to engrave on motorcycle parts and has developed tools and techniques to engrave through chrome without the chrome peeling.

The process of engraving through chrome saves the customer a lot of money. It eliminates having to strip, polish and re chrome the part... not to mention all the shipping costs..
Some people still prefer the traditional engraving which I can do for you as well..
Traditional engraving involves stripping the part ...having it polished sending it to me and engraving it and then having the chrome shop re plate the piece. very time consuming and a lot of shipping.
